The RA Schools today
Founded in 1769, the RA Schools remain an independent contemporary fine art school to this day. Each year, the RA Schools offer up to 17 artists the opportunity to participate in an intense three-year post-graduate programme, offering free tuition and studio space in central London. As we approach the RA Schools’ 250th birthday, we remain committed to providing an open, informed and critical environment in which to support the next generation of artists.
