Published 3 October 2014

This summer the RA’s 24th Annual Architecture Lecture was given by Pritzker Prize-winning Spanish Architect, Rafael Moneo in the inspiring setting of the Summer Exhibition.

  • Moneo is one of the world’s most widely respected and admired architects. Here, he offers his unique perspective on architectural theory from Alberti and Vitrivius to Koolhaus’ CCTV building in Beijing, informed by his academic background teaching at Harvard to his practical experience as an architect.

Moneo is world-renowned for his intellectually and structurally rigourous buildings, such as the Kursaal Congress Centre in San Sebastián, the City Hall in Murcia and the Northwest Corner Building at Columbia University.
